Windows Phone Sd Card Fix

Hello,
My wife's phone stopped seeing her SD card. We've tried it in my phone and in adapters on our computer, but it does not show up. It appears as if it is not mounting at all. When inserted into the printer's SD slot with a converter, it said 'Memory Card or External Device not recognized'.
She's missing about 6-7 month of photos that she hadn't backed up, and is hoping she can get them back.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try/ i've tried a couple of free recovery programs:
Zero Assumption Recovery
Remo Recovery
Neither of these can actually see the card.
Any ideas?
-Jason
